🥚Breeding
On Cobble Galaxy, players can breed Pokémon using the Pasture Block system which is a simple and interactive way to produce new Pokémon just like in the original games.
How Breeding Works
Craft a Pasture Block
Pasture Blocks can be crafted like normal blocks.
Crafting recipe can be found in the JEI
Place one down anywhere you'd like to set up your breeding area.
Set Up Your Pair
Right-click the block to open the menu.
Place two compatible Pokémon in the slots and select them to begin the pairing.
Activate the Breeding
Hit the Pasture Block with a Wooden Hoe to activate the breeding process.
Getting Your Egg
You’ll need to stay in the chunk of the pasture for progress to continue.
Once the breeding is complete, a chat message will notify you that an egg is ready.
Right-click the pasture again to view and collect the egg.
Item Effects on Breeding
Just like in the main Pokémon games, held items can influence the outcome of breeding:
Destiny Knot: When held by a parent, it passes down 5 IVs from both parents to the offspring.
Power Items (Power Band, Power Anklet, etc.): These guarantee that a specific IV (HP, Attack, Defense, etc.) is passed down from the parent holding it.
Make sure your Pokémon are holding the correct items before starting the breeding process and they will apply as long as the items are equipped when the egg is generated.
Quick Tips
You can use Ditto to simplify breeding with any compatible species.
Up to 4 Pasture Blocks can be placed to run more than one breeding pair at a time.
Hatched Pokémon will inherit moves, abilities, and IVs based on typical breeding mechanics.
You can use command
/pastureto check the status of your pasture blocks.
